Start with a known signal before diagnosing a weak radio path. These downloads state their sample rate, signal domain and payload so a successful frame decode is not mistaken for a recovered image.
FLAC compresses the waveform losslessly. PCM16 WAV is provided for receivers that expect WAV input. For Mode E, keep both I/Q channels at 192 kHz; do not downmix, normalize the channels independently or resample to an audio-only format. The raw SSDV I/Q fixture uses 96 kHz signed little-endian 16-bit I,Q pairs and a +3200 Hz carrier offset.
The complete SSDV and DRM samples carry the digital test-card JPEG. Transport-only fixtures carry short telemetry or framing examples. The grayscale Weather Fax strip contains no operational weather information.
SSDV images and link fixtures
The FEC and no-FEC samples are complete images, with all generated AX.25/SSDV packets recovered and the JPEG reconstructed by the same codec library. Other link fixtures identify their test payload explicitly. Read the transport reference.
SSDV with Reed-Solomon FEC
The complete digital test card carried in AX.25/SSDV packets.
Generated by the pinned native transport fixture generator.
Source card; this link fixture does not carry a complete image.
DRM Modes A-E
Modes A-D use a 10 kHz occupancy, 48 kHz mono PCM and 12 kHz real IF. Mode E uses the 100 kHz DRM+ profile and 192 kHz stereo I/Q. All five carry an MOT image object. These waveforms were generated with the transmitter library pinned in SSTV 2.0; the manifest distinguishes generation checks from receiver recovery evidence.
DRM Mode A
The digital test-card JPEG carried in a DRM MOT image service.
Generated by the SSTV 2.0 pinned transmitter library; PCM16 WAV verified by its writer.
Source JPEG carried by the MOT image service.
Weather Fax line-rate strips
Use IOC 576 and width 576 for these 32-line samples, selecting the stated LPM. The image-only strips contain 1500 Hz black and 2300 Hz white tones. Read the timing and tuning reference.
Weather Fax 60 LPM
Synthetic grayscale calibration strip. Image rows only; no start, phasing or stop sequence. Not a weather forecast.
Generated at 1500 Hz black and 2300 Hz white with a continuous phase and exact configured line length.
Expected grayscale strip.
Analog SSTV
The analog mode spec sheet links each mode's raster-matched test card, lossless waveform and available receiver loopback result. Reference-only historical modes remain separate from app-supported modes.
Provenance and reproduction
The digital samples use RadioSignalKit revision de358741cb785d86f917c4bf4ffca13874a8cae0, the revision pinned by the 2.0 release. The generator and Swift helper are retained with the website source. The public manifest records waveform and packet hashes, duration, sample format and the precise validation performed for each item.
